Elderly Rehabilitation Classes

Exercising as we get older can be daunting, but the Physiotherapy Team at Complete Physiotherapy are here to guide you step by step through your exercise journey. Our exercise classes are suitable for people over the age of 60 who can walk unaided around the home, who have finished or are close to finishing treatment with their Physiotherapist or who are looking to progress their fitness and strength.

The benefits of exercise are extensive, here are just a few:

  • Helps you to maintain a healthy weight
  • Reduces your risk of falls by strengthening your muscles
  • Can improve your thinking skills and coordination
  • Boosts your mood and energy levels (exercise releases endorphins)
  • It’s social and fun!

If you haven’t exercised in a while, don’t worry – our classes focus on gentle exercise to help you to regain your fitness at your own pace. If you’re used to regular physical activity, exercises can be tailored to be more strenuous.
