Mount Kilimanjaro

Our Director Yvette Kershaw will be setting off on the 17th February to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the Chiltern Centre.

The Chiltern Centre offers support and respite care for children and young adults from the age of 6 to 25 years with complex medical needs, profound learning or physical disabilities. A short break from caring 24 hours a day, 365 days a year can help the family continue to support their child in the long term. The centre needs to raise in excess of £200,000 each year to be able to continue to support families in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

Yvette says: “It’s an amazing place and really makes me realise how lucky anyone with healthy kids is and how much we take for granted. For children with disabilities, their parents and families, this is not the life they have been dealt and the respite services and support provided by the Chiltern Centre are literally life-changing. I am very proud to contribute a little to their work and am very grateful to anyone who can help by donating to this cause.”

Yvette’s donation target is £1500.00 and any donations made by our staff and patients will be matched by Dave Kershaw so please give generously

You can also donate via her just giving page: and as long as you put ‘Complete’ in the message we will know that Dave needs to match it.

Thank you for your support
